Well at least now with the Swine Flu Melbourne is famous for something! haha! Apparently 1 in every 3 people have it! gaspe! So i went and asked 2 people, and the third....sigh...the poor soul....hahaha!

but seriously, it sounds scary and all, but I really don't think it's like a Super Scary formidable enemy that we are all gonna fall at the feet of mercy at. However, I do admit, it is highly interesting that Victoria has experienced one of the fastest rate of infection..haha!

I just had a couple of peeps who are cancelling their trip to Melbourne cuz of it...ah em poor souls...

well, just from a Melbournian point of view, I feel like what president Barack Obama has said, it is a cause for alert, but not alarm.

And amazing part---i did my semantics assignment on Metaphors of Illness:Swine influenza pandemic. After scanning through many newspapers and online news, i have discovered my sudden interest in world issues and politics...if u knew me, you would also know that i have NO interest in these stuff--like really.
but!!! things are slowly starting to changeee i say!!! hehehehe!
